High-A Frederick

Catcher Austin Wynns has benefited from increased playing time following the trade of catcher Jonah Heim to the Tampa Bay Rays, and is performing well. He'd been filling in at Norfolk and Bowie before, but entered Saturday batting .359 in 17 games this month. He was riding an eight-game hitting streak entering Saturday's game, and was batting .280 with five home runs over the three levels.

Low-A Delmarva

Jhon Peluffo, a 19-year-old Colombian right-hander, skipped Aberdeen and went right to Delmarva after striking out 31 in 28 innings with a 1.61 ERA in the Gulf Coast League, but struggled in the South Atlantic League. He fanned just one and walked eight in three starts, allowing 16 runs on 21 hits in 10 2/3 innings before being sent back to the GCL.
