Orioles center fielder Adam Jones' fifth annual #StayHungry Purple Tailgate benefit will be held before the Ravens' Nov. 27 Monday Night Football game against the Houston Texans.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore, an organization that Jones has long been active with during his time with the Orioles.
Tickets for the event went on sale on Wednesday morning and are available at BMOREAroundTown.com.
The event — which will be held at the Stadium Square purple lot from 3:30 to 8 p.m. — mixes food from an eclectic assortment of local restaurants and live music in a pregame tailgate party atmosphere.
Last year's event raised $50,000 and it has raised more than $80,000 combined over the past four years.
For the second straight year, national country music recording artists LOCASH will perform for the event.
The list of participating restaurants includes Abbey Burger Bistro, Frick N' Tex BBQ, Ryleigh's Oyster, The Food Market, Noble's Bar and Grill, Mother Shuckers, La Food Marketa, The Charles, Blue Agave, Ruby 8, The Outpost, Southern Provisions, Dogwatch Tavern and Dangerously Delicious Pies.
Tickets for the event range from $50 to $125, and some packages include a game ticket and photo opportunities with Jones and LOCASH.
