Looking back at the Orioles' memorable bench-clearing brawls

You might have noticed major league baseball teams getting a little feisty lately.

On Wednesday, Colorado Rockies star Nolan Arenado charged the mound after San Diego Padres right-hander Luis Perdomo threw a fastball behind him in the third inning, sparking a brawl that resulted in five ejections.

Later that night, the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox added another chapter to their fight-filled feud when New York rookie Tyler Austin rushed reliever Joe Kelly after Boston's right-hander hit him with a pitch in the seventh inning. Austin, Kelly, Yankees reliever Tommy Kahnle and third base coach Phil Nevin were ejected. On Thursday, Kelly was suspended for six games and Austin received a five-game penalty.

The Orioles have had their share of bench-clearing scuffles, including a wild melee against the Seattle Mariners in 1993 that delayed the game for 20 minutes.
