Orioles on deck: What to watch Wednesday at Angels, plus lineups, broadcast info and more

Orioles (8-21) vs. Angels (17-12)

Where: Angel Stadium of Anaheim

First pitch: 10:07 p.m.

TV/Radio: MASN2/105.7 The Fan

Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Dylan Bundy (1-3, 2.97 ERA) vs. Angels LHP Andrew Heaney (0-1, 6.91 ERA)

What to watch

1. Rebound opportunity. Dylan Bundy had allowed two earned runs or fewer in each of his first five games for a 1.42 ERA before his first poor start of the year shot his ERA up by more than a run and a half. Bundy allowed eight runs (seven earned) in 4 2/3 innings Thursday against the Tampa Bay Rays and will be looking to bounce back Wednesday on the West Coast. It will be Bundy's second career start and third career outing against the Angels, all of which have come at Angel Stadium. He allowed two runs in seven innings in a start there last season, but he had a rough relief appearance (four runs in 1 1/3 innings) in Anaheim in 2016.

2. Rebound opportunity, part 2. The Orioles earned just their second series win of the season over the weekend, and had an encouraging comeback Tuesday before losing to the Angels. See if the Orioles can bounce back against lefty Andrew Heaney, who has pitched into the sixth only once in three starts and has allowed 13 runs (11 earned) in 14 1/3 innings.

3. Welcome back. A little more than a month into the season, Mark Trumbo played in his first game of the season Tuesday, and went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts. A superior performer against left-handed pitching, can he add some of what the Orioles lineup was missing with a southpaw starting?
