What’s the best way to feel better in the offseason after a gloomy Orioles summer? Reminisce about a season that was much brighter.

In November, the Babe Ruth Birthplace Foundation will host a gala celebrating the 35th anniversary of the 1983 World Series-winning Orioles, in partnership with the Sports Boosters of Maryland.

The night entails a cocktail hour, dinner, silent and live auctions from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel.

Members of the Orioles family that have committed to attend so far are John “T-Bone” Shelby, Benny Ayala, John Stefero, Gary Roenicke, Bill Swaggerty, Tippy Martinez, Ken Singleton, Jim Palmer, Eddie Murray, Scott McGregor, Tito Landrum, Dan Ford and Fred Manfra.

Tickets cost $150 and there will be various sponsorship opportunities from $1,500 to $25,000 with increased amenities for higher-level contributions.
