Who gets the call?

Rosters expand Saturday, and while Showalter shot down the notion of Dylan Bundy being called up then, there are some likely candidates to help the O's in more low-key roles. Pitchers Jake Arrieta, Jason Berken and Tommy Hunter, catcher Luis Exposito, infielders Joe Mahoney and Steve Tolleson and outfielder Xavier Avery are on the 40-man roster and are likely to be called up. And Zach Britton will obviously also join the team after Thursday's gem (and his subsequent option to Norfolk, which was more an administrative loophole than an actual demotion). Avery (above) would give the O's another pinch runner and defensive replacement in the outfield, Tolleson is also a versatile player, and the extra arms never hurt. There are some managers out there who don't like the expanded rosters, but it's hard to complain too much when you can add members to your bench late in the season -- especially when these games finally mean something for the Orioles.
