-- Class of 2015 defensive tackle target Adam McLean, in case you hadn't heard, committed to Maryland last Thursday, becoming the biggest get in the Terps' recruiting class.

-- Former Class of 2015 athlete commit Mike Majette is no longer in the Terps' recruiting class, after taking an official visit to Indiana without first notifying the Maryland coaching staff.

-- Class of 2015 quarterback commit Gage Shaffer was named Class AA first-team all-state in West Virginia. He finished the season with 2,029 passing yards and 24 touchdowns. He had a touchdown pass in a 43-7 loss in the state final last Friday.

-- Class of 2015 running back commit Ty Johnson had 10 carries for 78 yards in a 40-8 win over Douglass for the Class 1A state title.

-- Class of 2015 wide receiver commit D.J. Moore was named Class AAA All-Public in Philadelphia.

-- Class of 2015 offensive tackle commit Ellis McKennie (McDonogh) was named first-team All-Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association.

-- Class of 2015 defensive tackle commit Keiron Howard was named first-team All-County in Prince George's County.

-- Class of 2015 linebacker commit Gus Little had a catch for 34 yards in a 41-21 loss last Saturday.

-- Class of 2015 linebacker commit Brett Zanotto was named first-team All-Greater Allegheny Conference. Zanotto finished with 102 tackles, two sacks and an interception on defense and 908 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns on offense.

-- Class of 2015 defensive back commit Darnell Savage was named second-team All-State in Delaware.

-- Class of 2015 defensive end targets Austrian Robinson and Drew Bailey took official visits to Maryland last weekend. The Terps reportedly remain the favorite for Robinson, a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports.com
