Tsuyoshi Wada threw 15 pitches from the half-mound at the Ed Smith Stadium complex on Monday morning and, according to the Japanese reporters that interviewed him afterward, reported no problems with his sore elbow.

Wada is being brought along slowly after having his swollen elbow drained earlier in camp. Manager Buck Showalter has said there is still time for him to work his way into shape for the start of the regular season, but the deliberate pace of his rehab program makes that seem unlikely.

If he's not ready, he likely would start the season on the disabled list and stay in extended spring training when the Orioles break camp.
