I've been a little quiet the past week or so – pretty rare for me, I know – while I take some time off before I head to Sarasota in March.
But I am breaking the silence on Monday evening.
I'll be giving a baseball talk at Zion Lutheran Church in York, Pa., tonight at 7 p.m.
We did it last year and it was a lot of fun (despite an impending blizzard), and I got to meet some of you after the talk. Plus, it's for a good cause; there's no admission fee but a freewill offering will be taken for the church's youth ministry.
The event should be even better this year because I'll be joined by two great, knowledgeable guys: Mel Antonen of MASN, si.com and Sirius XM fame, and Jim Seip, the York Revolution beat writer for the York Daily Record.
Jim joined me last year, and he brings a unique perspective to baseball – and especially the inner workings of the Atlantic League.
And Mel, well Mel is unique. We can leave it at that.
So it should be a lot of fun. We'll talk Orioles and Nationals and Phillies and the York Revolution and anything else you want to throw at us.
Here's the info again:
