4. Chris Davis' seven strikeouts

Chris Davis' (above) afternoon at Fenway Park on May 6 will go down in history. The designated hitter struck out five times in eight at-bats as the Orioles beat the Red Sox, 9-6, in 17 innings. Davis picked up two more strikeouts -- and a win -- on the mound in the 16th and 17th innings. Davis struck out Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Adrian Gonzalez in two scoreless innings in professional pitching debut. Sure, he had trouble moving his arm the next day, but that game will always be part of Orioles' lore. In August, Davis homered three times in one game to become just the third player (Babe Ruth and Jim Tobin) to achieve a three-homer game and a pitching win in the same season in modern baseball history.
