If there's any part of the Orioles' roster that appears to have been significantly upgraded, it's the bullpen. But like the starting rotation, there are too many puzzle pieces and not enough slots. What we do know is that right-handers Matt Lindstrom and Luis Ayala are a pair of power pitchers who can work the late innings. Given the success Jim Johnson (above) had after assuming the closer role last season, he is the favorite to assume that spot this spring, but he will have help from the newcomers, as well as Pedro Strop and Kevin Gregg. Both of the latter, however, could be used as trade chips.
