Chance Sisco, Josh Hart placed on Frederick DL

The Orioles' injury bug isn't just limited to the big league club.

The High-A Frederick Keys announced two, fairly high profile minor leaguers have been placed on the seven-day disabled list.

Catcher Chance Sisco, who was ranked by Baseball America as the Orioles' fourth best prospect, suffered a small fracture to his right ring finger when he was attempting to throw out a potential basestealer and hit the opponent's bat. Sisco was a 2013 second rounder.

The sense is he could be back once eligible to come off the disabled list.

Outfielder Josh Hart, drafted in the supplemental first round in 2013, dove for a ball in the gap on Wednesday and sprained his right shoulder. Although the diagnosis is preliminary, the Orioles are hopeful he'll only out a week or so.

To fill their spots in Frederick, the Keys promoted outfielder Anthony Hewitt and catcher Steel Russell from the Short-A Aberdeen roster. Russell is the son of Orioles bench coach John Russell.
