Second baseman Jonathan Schoop has been scratched from the Orioles lineup on Sunday with a sore left quadriceps muscle.
Schoop, who had homered in consecutive games, is available to come off the bench, the club said.
Ryan Flaherty replaced Schoop at second base and shortstop Everth Cabrera moved up one spot in the order.
