Utah wide receiver Dres Anderson ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 to 4.47 seconds during his Pro Day workout Tuesday with Ravens wide receivers coach Bobby Engram in attendance, according to NFL sources.
Engram also met individually with Anderson, who caught all but one pass except for a corner route that went out of bounds.
The son of former NFL wide receiver Willie "Flipper" Anderson, Dres Anderson is roughly 90 percent recovered from a medial collateral ligament injury that required surgery.
Anderson is expected to be fully ready for offseason minicamps. He had surgery nearly seven months ago.
At 6-foot-1 3/8 and 186 pounds, Anderson had a 10-1 broad jump at the end of the workout, a 6.87 three-cone drill, a 4.2 short shuttle and an 11.32 60-yard shuttle.
Anderson was graded as a second-round talent, but might last until the third round or fourth round following the injury. That prevented him from taking part in the Senior Bowl and NFL scouting combine.
Representatives from several other NFL teams attended the workout: Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, Oakland Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Diego Chargers, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans.
Anderson is Utah's all-time leading receiver with 2,077 career yards. He finished his career with 134 receptions for 17 touchdowns. He was a four-time honorable-mention academic All-Pac-12 selection.
Anderson started seven games before injuring his knee, finishing his senior year with 22 catches for 355 yards and four touchdowns.
