The Ravens attended a Pro Day workout Monday for University of Minnesota running back David Cobb, according to NFL sources.
Cobb injured his quadriceps while running a 4.81 in the 40-yard dash at the NFL scouting combine and wasn't able to do a full workout.
The All-Big Ten Conference second-team selection ran the 40-yard dash in 4.58 to 4.65 seconds Monday, according to sources.
Over 20 NFL teams attended the workout, during which Cobb performed positional drills. Minnesota Vikings running backs coach Kirby Wilson attended the campus workout.
The Ravens have displayed steady interest in Cobb, including meeting with him at the combine and the Senior Bowl.
Cobb has drawn third-round grades from NFL draft analysts. If the Ravens don't draft a running back to work in tandem with veteran Justin Forsett in the first or second round, Cobb could be a strong option in the third round, if he's available.
The Ravens have brought in Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon and Indiana running back Tevin "Rock" Coleman for visits, according to sources.
At the combine, Cobb bench pressed 225 pounds 17 times and had a 38.5-inch vertical leap.
Cobb is a powerful downhill runner at 5 feet 11, 229 pounds. He displayed good vision last season as he rushed for a school-record 1,626 yards and 13 touchdowns. Cobb rushed for 1,202 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior.
At the Senior Bowl, Cobb rushed for 69 yards on 11 carries and caught the ball well all week.
He rushed for 145 yards and three touchdowns during a loss to eventual national champion Ohio State last season.
