Ravens rookie defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan was carted off the field and into to the locker room after injuring his left foot in the third quarter. His return is doubtful, according to the Ravens.

Jernigan, who is one of the Ravens' top rookies, was unable to put any weight on his leg as he was helped off the field by trainers. He earned a starting role after defensive tackle Haloti Ngata was suspended for violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy when he tested positive for Adderall.

Jernigan has recorded four sacks and 23 tackles this season, including two tackles Sunday before he was injured.

Meanwhile, the Ravens ruled out reserve inside linebacker Arthur Brown with a hamstring injury.
