Ravens will play Saints, Eagles, Redskins and Falcons in preseason

The Ravens' preseason schedule includes home games against the New Orleans Saints and Washington Redskins, and road matchups versus the Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons.

Exact times and dates in some cases have yet to be announced but the Ravens will open up their preseason against the Saints on Aug. 13 at M&T Bank Stadium. Their second preseason game will be against the Eagles on either Aug. 21 or Aug. 22 at Lincoln Financial Field.

For the all-important third preseason game, in which starters traditionally play well into the second half, the Ravens will be at home against the Redskins on Aug. 28 or 29. They'll then close the preseason on Sept. 3 at Atlanta.

The schedule, which was released by the NFL on Thursday, is a typical preseason slate for the Ravens, who traditionally face regional rivals. The Falcons have also been a staple on the Ravens' preseason schedule, as this will mark the 10th time in the past 13 years the two teams will meet in the exhibition season. They didn't play in the preseason last year because they met in the regular season.

It will mark just the second time the Ravens will play the Saints in the preseason. Meanwhile, the Ravens will face the Eagles for the 12th time in the preseason and the Redskins for the ninth. The Ravens aren't scheduled to play any of their preseason opponents in the regular season.

The league is expected to release the regular-season schedule within the next couple of weeks, before the draft, which starts on April 30.

However, all of the Ravens' opponents are known. Along with their home-and-home AFC North matchups with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns, the Ravens will have home games against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Rams, San Diego Chargers and Seattle Seahawks.

On the road in the regular season, they'll face the Arizona Cardinals, Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers.

The Ravens went 10-6 last season and qualified for the playoffs for the sixth time in the past seven seasons.
