Last we saw Terrell Suggs, he was contemplative about his future and talking about how he's learned to approach the offseason differently at this stage in his career.
Well here's one thing he's adding to his offseason routine: he's going to play the feud.
Suggs is one of 10 NFL stars who will be featured on a celebrity edition of the popular game show "Family Feud" Sunday at 8 p.m. on ABC, with two teams of five from the AFC and five from the NFC competing to win up to $25,000 for charity, the NFL Players Association announced Thursday.
Joining Suggs on the AFC team will be Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, New York Jets center Nick Mangold, San Diego Chargers tight end Antonio Gates, and Denver Broncos defensive end DeMarcus Ware. If they win, the spoils will go to the Player Assistance Trust, which benefits former athletes in need.
They will compete against former Terps star and current San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy, Arizona Cardinals defensive end Calais Campbell, Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte, and Carolina Panthers outside linebacker Thomas Davis. The NFC team will play for St. Jude's Children's Research Center.
It's actually a star-studded cast, and given the popularity of these primetime editions of the show with host Steve Harvey, might be appointment television for Ravens fans. If there's a movies topic, expect Suggs to shine.
