Ravens long snapper Morgan Cox, two ex-Ravens going to NFL business boot camp

Ravens long snapper Morgan Cox, former Ravens outside linebacker Adalius Thomas and cornerback Corey Graham are among the 22 current and former NFL players participating in an NFL business boot camp.

The workshop runs from Friday to Monday at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, which is named after Miami Dolphins owner Stephen M. Ross. A real estate billionaire, Ross is the keynote speaker.

The emphasis is on franchising. Former NFL players attending include Tim Biakabutuka, who owns four Bojangles' Famous Chicken 'n Biscuits franchises, Angelo Crowell, the owner of five Jersey Mike's Subs locations and Van Jakes, who owns three McDonald's franchises.

Other players scheduled to attend: New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Devin Hester

"We want to help our players to be successful on and off the field," former New York Giants fullback Charles Way, the NFL's player engagement vice president, said in a statement. "Offering this boot camp and putting our players and their significant others in front of some the most successful people in our NFL family and in the corporate world will hopefully provide them the inspiration needed to achieve their dreams away from the football field."
