Since the Ravens drafted offensive guard Marshal Yanda in the third round eight years ago, they've negotiated four contracts with the Pro Bowl blocker.
Yanda is heading into the final year of his five-year, $20 million contract extension and no deal is imminent, according to NFL sources. It's unlikley the Ravens can afford both Yanda and left guard Kelechi Osemele, who would be one of the NFL's top free-agent linemen next year if not re-signed.
Yanda, 30, expressed confidence that it'll work out. A four-time Pro Bowl selection, he signed a $32 million contract in 2012 that included a $10 million signing bonus.
"I'm focused on the mandatory minicamp right now," Yanda said. "We'll worry about that when the time comes. Right now, I'm focused on getting better as a football player.
"I'm not too worried about it. We'll get it done when we get it done. I'm not too worried about it."
