The Ravens have worked out the logistics for their joint practice schedule with the Philadelphia Eagles during training camp.
Ravens coach John Harbaugh and Eagles coach Chip Kelly have coordinated schedules, but Harbaugh didn't indicate days and times on Wednesday. The Ravens and Eagles will practice together at the Eagles' NovaCare Complex in Philadelphia leading up to an Aug. 22 preseason game at Lincoln Financial Field.
"Chip and I got together," Harbaugh said. "We've got the practices pretty much finished. We'll be practicing against them. It will be fun and I'm looking forward to it."
Meanwhile, the Ravens are still in the process of finalizing their West Coast travel plans.
The team is considering staying on the West Coast following their season-opener against the Denver Broncos and heading into their game the following week against the Raiders and Oakland. The Ravens are contemplating the merits of staying out West after they play the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 18, prior to an Oct. 26 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
A decision could be made this week. The Ravens sent senior vice president of operations Bob Eller and travel manager Joan Fennekohl to visit hotels on the West Coast.
"We haven't made a final decision yet," Harbaugh said. "We're meeting on that Thursday. So we might have some decisions here by the end of the week."
