The Calvert Hall graduate had a private workout Thursday for Philadelphia Eagles coach Chip Kelly and vice president of player personnel Ed Marynowitz at his high school.

Amos has also visited the Eagles.

He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.39 seconds at the Nittany Lions' pro day workout. That was an improvement on his 4.56 time at the NFL scouting combine.

The 6-foot, 218-pound Amos also bench pressed 225 pounds 21 times after not doing that test at the combine.

He is projected to be picked somewhere between the third and fifth rounds by draft analysts.
