Johnson had been on the disabled list since June 6 with a left oblique strain. The St. Paul's alum will be in the bullpen Friday. Johnson was 1-1 with a 8.49 ERA in five games this year for the Orioles. He was scheduled to continue his rehab at Double-A Bowie.

Ryan Flaherty is starting at second base in place of Roberts, who is hitting .245 in 30 games with the Orioles.
