Orioles pregame: Adam Jones out of lineup, O's recall T.J. McFarland and option Oliver Drake

BOSTON — Orioles center fielder Adam Jones is not in the starting lineup again for tonight's game against the Boston Red Sox.

Jones said Tuesday that he didn't expect to test his right throwing arm today.

The Orioles also made a pregame roster move, adding left-handed reliever T.J. McFarland and optioning right-handed reliever Oliver Drake.

Drake was recalled from Norfolk before Sunday's game, but did not pitch in his two games after rejoining the club.

Adding McFarland gives the Orioles some left-handed bullpen length tonight behind starter Bud Norris.
