Opening Day guide: Schedule, weather, food and more

The Orioles open their 2016 season at 3:05 p.m. today against the Minnesota Twins at Camden Yards. (TV: MASN, Ch. 13, Radio: 105.7 FM).

Here's what you need to know about Opening Day.

Schedule

10 a.m.: Orioles parking lots open

11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.: Orioles batting practice

Noon: Gates open

12:30-1:30 p.m.: Twins batting practice

1:30-2:30 p.m.: Field preparation

2:30 p.m.: Ceremonies begin

Weather

Temperatures are expected to rise this afternoon, reaching the mid-60s for Opening Day, but rain could arrive in the afternoon, according to Scott Dance. Showers are possible after about 2 p.m., and a quarter of an inch to half an inch of rain could fall through the evening, according to the National Weather Service. Isolated thunder and lightning could also disrupt the game.

If you're going to the game, check out the five new foods at Camden Yards.

If you're more into chicken, wear Orioles apparel to a participating Chick-fil-A store in the Baltimore area and get your free chicken sandwich. The food will be available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
