Coming off a series win against the Boston Red Sox this weekend, the Orioles open a three-game series against the Chicago White Sox Monday night at Camden Yards.
The Orioles took five of six last year against the White Sox.
Several Orioles are on the field right now doing some early work, including pitchers fielding practice. It reminds me a little of spring training in Sarasota, Fla.
The most interesting thing is that Jimmy Paredes is taking grounders at both first base and shortstop. The hot-hitting Paredes has made most of his starts at designated hitter, and he'll be back there tonight, but maybe the Orioles are gauging how he fares defensively at other spots.
