What to watch
1. Searching for No. 1. Kevin Gausman has been one of the Orioles' two best starting pitchers this season, but he has yet to earn a victory. He has rebounded nicely from his first rough patch of 2016 with back-to-back quality starts. With a win tonight, Gausman and the Orioles have a chance to guarantee themselves a division lead when they leave Boston. Will Gausman be able to claim Win No. 1 at Fenway Park?
2. Follow the leader. Since Adam Jones took over as the Orioles' leadoff hitter on May 27, his production has significantly increased with six of his 11 home runs and 16 of his 35 RBIs in the past 18 games. Will Jones continue to be a significant contributor batting first for the Birds?
3. Knuckling under. Knuckleballer Steven Wright has been a revelation for the Red Sox this season, leading the American League with a 2.09 ERA and ranking third with a .203 opponents' batting average. One of his two best performances this season came against the Orioles, when he allowed two runs in a complete-game four-hitter on May 30. Can the Orioles learn from that loss and get a hold of the fluttering knuckler tonight?
