Orioles (23-13) vs. Seattle Mariners (21-16)

Where: Camden Yards

First pitch: 7:05 p.m.

TV/Radio: MASN2/105.7 The Fan

Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Ubaldo Jimenez (2-3, 4.87 ERA) vs. Mariners LHP Wade Miley (3-2, 4.91 ERA)

What to watch

1. Back to Schoop. Perhaps no Orioles (other than maybe Adam Jones) are hotter than Jonathan Schoop right now. The Orioles second baseman has gone 6-for-14 with two homers, a triple and 10 RBIs over his past four games. That has nearly doubled his RBI total from 12 to 22. Can Schoop keep it up against the Mariners?

2. Heavyweights of the AL. After facing four of the worst teams in the American League consecutively, the Orioles welcome the AL West-leading Seattle Mariners to Camden Yards. The Mariners are the first team with a winning record to face the Orioles since the Birds spit a four-game series with the Chicago White Sox from April 28 to May 1. The Mariners come in having lost three in a row for the first time since a five-game skid from April 8-12. Are the Orioles getting the Mariners at the right time?

3. Ubaldo Jekyll or Ubaldo Hyde. Ubaldo Jimenez has been maddeningly inconsistent this season, and has sandwiched his two worst starts of the season around his best. Even with a strong eight-inning outing, he has a 6.11 ERA over his past three starts. Which Ubaldo will take the mound tonight?
