Starting pitchers: Orioles LHP Wade Miley (3-4, 4.29 ERA) vs. Indians RHP Garrett Clevinger (2-3, 3.89 ERA)

What to watch

1. Closing in. The Orioles have now allowed at least five runs in 18 consecutive games, moving within two games of tying the 1924 Philadelphia Phillies' major league record. Wade Miley has contributed to the streak with a 12.66 ERA over his past three starts, and 11 earned runs in eight innings over his past two outings. Can Miley and the Orioles finally put an end to this run of woeful pitching?

2. Series at risk. The Orioles have a chance to walk away from this series with a split if they can win tonight. It would mark back-to-back series without losing one for the first time since splitting the first series of June. Now tied with the Toronto Blue Jays for last place in the American League East, can the Orioles earn the split and avoid falling into sole possession of the division cellar for the first time since April 2015?

3. King of Camden Yards. After a three-hit game Wednesday, Trey Mancini boosted his already impressive career numbers at Camden Yards. He is now batting .351 with a 1.098 OPS in 33 career games at home while hitting .278 with an .805 OPS in 29 road games. He also has 10 homers at Camden Yards, compared to five away from home. Can he have another big game at the Yard before the club leaves for a six-game road trip?
