Orioles on deck: What to watch Sunday vs. White Sox

What to watch during today's Orioles-White Sox game.

Orioles (14-9) vs. Chicago White Sox (17-8)

Where: Camden Yards

First pitch: 1:35 p.m.

TV/Radio: MASN, WJZ/105.7 The Fan

Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Ubaldo Jimenez (1-2, 3.91 ERA) vs. White Sox LHP Chris Sale (5-0, 1.66 ERA)

What to watch

1. Not for Sale. The Orioles could only wish they were missing White Sox ace Chris Sale, but no such luck. Sale has won each of his starts and comes in having allowed one run in 24 innings over his past three starts. One night after slowing down Mat Latos, can they do the same against the Chicago left-hander?

2. Shake it off. The Orioles ended up on the wrong side of a deflating loss Saturday, allowing five runs in the last three innings to blow an early lead. How will the Orioles respond right away with a chance to swipe a series from one of the majors' hottest teams?

3. Afternoon delight. Ubaldo Jimenez posted a 3.69 ERA in seven daytime starts last season, compared with a 4.22 ERA at night. Will Jimenez continue to have success with the sun out (if the weather clears up Sunday)?
