Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Kevin Gausman (0-1, 2.16 ERA) vs. Tigers RHP Michael Fulmer (2-1, 6.00 ERA)

What to watch

1. Sweep city. The Orioles have won seven in a row for the second time this season, and now have a chance to make it their first eight-game run since 2005. With a win, they also will have their first four-game sweep since Aug. 14-17 last season against the Oakland Athletics. Can the Birds keep the streak alive and finish the sweep?

2. Ace on the hill. Kevin Gausman has begun to look like the front-line pitcher the Orioles hoped they were getting when they took him fourth overall in 2012. He has struck out 23 and walked five with a 2.16 ERA in 25 innings. Can he put together another strong start and earn his first win of 2016?

3. Slow starts. In each of the first three games in this series, the Tigers held the Orioles in check for five innings before the offense bust out from the sixth on. The Birds can't win that way forever. Will they start quicker against rookie starter Michael Fulmer?
