Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Dylan Bundy (4-3, 3.05 ERA) vs. White Sox RHP James Shields (5-13, 4.92 ERA)

What to watch

1. Bundy day: Dylan Bundy has taken a no-hitter into the sixth inning of each of his past two starts, and is 2-1 with a 1.53 ERA over his past three starts. This is what the Orioles dreamed of, and thanks to a move out of necessity, they're getting it sooner than many expected. Can Bundy dominate yet again?

2. Remember me? The Orioles got to know today's White Sox starter, James Shields, very well during his seven seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays (and two more with the Kansas City Royals), but will face him today for the first time since 2014. Shields had been one of the best pitchers in the American League for a month, with a 1.71 ERA in six starts, before allowing six runs in five innings his last outing. Which Big Game James will the Orioles get in today's rubber match?

3. First place is the best place: Even after losing Saturday, the Orioles remained tied with the Toronto Blue Jays for first place in the AL East. A win today could be critical with seven games ahead on the West Coast. Will the Orioles be able to stay on top of the division before rattling their body clocks in the Bay Area?
