What to watch

1. Crushed it. Chris Davis went 4-for-5 with his sixth homer and three runs scored Saturday, elevating his batting average 54 points to .246 with a .964 OPS. He is now on pace for 61 homers, 132 RBIs, 223 strikeouts and an astounding 152 walks. His prior high was 84 free passes last season. Can he keep it up to deliver the Orioles a series win?

2. V is for victory. Series victories are the key to a measured approach to putting together a winning season. The Orioles have won four of five series this season, and have a chance to make it five of six today in Kansas City. Can the Birds take their second road set in three tries this season?

3. Young guns. The Orioles send 26-year-old right-hander Mike Wright to the mound against 24-year-old righty Yordano Ventura this afternoon. Wright improved from his first start to his second this year, with a quality start in his last outing. Can he take another step forward today?
