Starting pitchers: Orioles RHP Alec Asher (NR) vs. Blue Jays RHP Marco Estrada (0-1, 5.73 ERA)

What to watch

1. Orioles debut. The Orioles didn't need a fifth starter until today, and recently acquired righty Alec Asher gets first crack at the job. The club called him up this morning and optioned right-hander Stefan Crichton back to Triple-A Norfolk. Asher was solid in his first start for Triple-A Norfolk and now is charged with handling a righty-heavy Blue Jays order.

2. Streaking. The Orioles and Blue Jays have played even ball in recent years, but the Orioles have been the top contributor to Toronto's worst start in franchise history. Baltimore has taken all four meetings between the teams so far and has won three in a row overall to top the AL East early on.

3. Boom boom, II. The home runs keep coming. After hitting five Wednesday in Boston, the Orioles hit four Friday in Toronto. Will the power continue this afternoon?
