Against Yankees and familiar foe Sabathia, Orioles will start Reimold, Davis, Pearce and Wieters

"He didn't quite have the command he had last time,” Buck Showalter said of Yankees right-hander Michael Pineda. “He's got great stuff. Guys put some good swings on mistakes he did make." (Kevin Richardson/Baltimore Sun video)

The Orioles get to face an exceptionally familiar foe Saturday in New York's CC Sabathia. The Yankees' big left-hander is 18-7 with a 3.40 ERA in 31 starts and 217 1/3 innings against the Orioles in his career. That's basically the equivalent of a full season for a pitcher.

Sabathia, remember, made his big league debut against the Orioles for the Cleveland Indians back in 2001.

Nolan Reimold, who is 9-for-27 in his career against Sabathia, is starting in left field again. Jimmy Paredes, who had been struggling for several weeks before getting three hits Friday, is out of the lineup. Chris Davis is the designated hitter, and Steve Pearce is playing first base. Matt Wieters is back behind the plate after a day off.

Not much to see other than that.
