Orioles' game against Rangers expected to begin at 8:40 p.m.

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Tonight's Orioles game against the Texas Rangers is scheduled to start at 8:40 p.m. (Eastern) after a rain delay.

The grounds crew has just removed the tarp from the field. Texas will have a pregame ceremony to induct former catcher Ivan Rodriguez into the Rangers Hall of Fame, which will take approximately 30 minutes.

Tonight's game was initially scheduled to begin at 8:15, but thunderstorms pelted the area, forcing the Orioles to cut batting practice short.

The Orioles are going for their fifth win in their past six games and their third straight win against the Rangers.
