With rain in Florida, Orioles scheduled to play Phillies in first of two games Monday

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Between the raindrops, the Orioles will try to fit in a split-squad road game against the Philadelphia Phillies this afternoon at Bright House Field.

A massive band of storms is heading to Florida's Gulf Coast, threatening this game, set for 1:05 p.m., and the club's home split-squad game against the Minnesota Twins at Ed Smith Stadium tonight at 7:05 p.m.

Brian Matusz is scheduled to start here, and Kevin Gausman is set to follow him. Also listed among the Orioles' available pitchers are Suk-min Yoon, Josh Stinson, Troy Patton and minor leaguers Jesse Beal and Oliver Drake.

On the initial lineup card, the Orioles had Matusz scheduled to hit, but since the Phillies have a designated hitter today, the lineup was changed. Jack Cust, brought up from minor league camp, will be the starting designated hitter for the Orioles.
