Orioles and Yankees lineups for Game 4: Jeter will play

The Orioles and Yankees lineups are posted, and there are no surprises on the Orioles' end.

A couple interesting notes on the Yankees' side, however.

First, Derek Jeter is in the lineup leading off, but serving as the designated hitter.

He fouled a ball off his left foot and left Wednesday's game. But it was hard to believe he wouldn't be in the lineup with the Yankees being able to clinch a berth to the American League Championship Series with a win.

Also, Alex Rodriguez, who is mired in a 1-for-12 slump with seven strikeouts, was dropped from third in the order to fifth.

Here are the orders:

Nate McLouth LF
J.J. Hardy SS
Chris Davis RF
Adam Jones CF
Matt Wieters C
Jim Thome DH
Mark Reynolds 1B
Ryan Flaherty 2B
Manny Machado 3B

Derek Jeter DH
Ichiro Suzuki LF
Mark Teixeira 1B
Robinson Cano 2B
Alex Rodriguez 3B
Nick Swisher RF
Russell Martin C
