The Orioles are going back to their previous season-ticket plans, meaning the popular 13-game option has returned for new customers who want to purchase it.
Heading into this offseason, the Orioles had decided to change their season ticket plans for new customers – adding 20- and 40-game plans and eliminating the 13-game option (which was still available for renewal by existing customers).
However, the club is changing gears, scrapping the 20- and 40-game plans. Now, new customers can purchase what the three plans that have been offered since their days at Memorial Stadium: 13-game, 29-game and 81-game plans.
The Orioles will be in contact with customers who had already committed to the new plans to find out how they want to proceed under the current changes.
Bottom line: If you don't currently have a 13-game plan and want to buy one, that option is now available. It wasn't earlier this winter for new customers.
The Orioles said earlier this week that they are not raising season ticket or individual game ticket prices in 2015.
The team plans to have statements sent out to all season-ticket plan holders by Monday. They will be sent by e-mail.
