J.J. Hardy not ready for rehab assignment; Paredes to play at Bowie, then Norfolk

Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy (shoulder) took the day off today after taking batting practice on Wednesday. He'll continue to work out and take BP at Camden Yards on Friday, but he is not quite ready for a rehab assignment.

Infielder Jimmy Paredes (back) will play at Double-A Bowie on Friday and at Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday. His 20-day rehab clock starts Friday.
