Infielder Ryan Flaherty is not in the starting lineup for tonight's game against the Toronto Blue Jays after aggravating a right groin injury.
Flaherty is currently listed among the available Orioles reserves. He was scheduled to have an MRI taken at some point today.
Steve Pearce is starting at second base for Flaherty.
Orioles manager Buck Showalter said if Flaherty can't play today, there might be no other option but to place him on the disabled list.
The Orioles middle infield has been depleted by injuries. Shortstop J.J. Hardy is just returning from injury and starting second baseman Jonathan Schoop is on the DL with a right knee injury. Flaherty was activated from the DL on Friday.
