Flaherty not in Orioles starting lineup

"It [the injury] doesn’t feel severe, it doesn’t feel like something is seriously wrong," Baltimore Orioles infielder Ryan Flaherty said. "It’s just something that’s nagging, that’s bothering me." (Kevin Richardson/Baltimore Sun video)

Infielder Ryan Flaherty is not in the starting lineup for tonight's game against the Toronto Blue Jays after aggravating a right groin injury.

Flaherty is currently listed among the available Orioles reserves. He was scheduled to have an MRI taken at some point today.

Steve Pearce is starting at second base for Flaherty.

Orioles manager Buck Showalter said if Flaherty can't play today, there might be no other option but to place him on the disabled list.
