The Orioles would love to be able to pencil Roberts into the everyday lineup, but let's face it: When you've played in just 98 games over the past two seasons, it leaves a lot of doubt. He hasn't played in a game since May 16 and is still dealing with concussion symptoms. The Orioles have plenty of contingency options, Andino's stepping into an everyday role at second base the most likely of them. But Roberts' every action — and lack of action — this spring will be scrutinized. And at this point, any positive development will sprout optimism that maybe Roberts can regain his past form.
