All in all, Reynolds' transition to the American League went well. He hit a team-high 37 homers and had fewer than 200 strikeouts for the first time in four seasons. He will start spring at third base, where he committed 26 errors in 114 games in 2011. Reynolds has dropped some weight in the offseason and wants to prove he's a better third baseman than he showed last season. He will have that opportunity this spring, but keep an eye on how Reynolds works at-bats in Grapefruit League play as well.
