Now that the Ravens have drafted former Central Florida wide receiver Breshad Perriman in the first round, their next step is to negotiate a contract with the 26th overall pick.
Under the NFL slotting system for NFL rookies, Perriman should receive a four-year, $7.881 million contract that includes a $3.992 million signing bonus and a club option for a fifth-year.
Perriman will have $6.371 million in total guaranteed money.
Perriman is due base salaries of $435,000 in 2015, $793,255 in 2016, $1.151 million in 2017, $1.509 million in 2018 with additional compensation of $1.609 million total.
His annual salary cap figures are $1.433 million in 2015, $1.791 million in 2016, $2.149 million in 2017 and $2.507 million in 2018.
The valuation for Perriman's deal is similar to Philadelphia Eagles second-year outside linebacker Marcus Smith, the 26th overall pick a year ago. Smith signed a four-year, $7.799 million contract that included a $3.992 million signing bonus and $6.315 million in total guaranteed money.
