Adam Jones' #StayHungry Purple Tailgate raises more than $10K for charity

(Handout photo)

Everyone who follows Orioles center fielder Adam Jones on social media knows how much he loves food. So, on Sunday morning, he combined that love of food with another one of his passions, raising money for charity. Jones held his first #StayHungry Purple Tailgate before the Ravens-Bengals game to benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore.

With food catered by Blue Agave, Ryleigh's Oyster and Abbey Burger Bistro, as well as Mouth Party Caramels, plus two bands, raffles and a silent auction, Jones announced that the event raised more than $10,000 for the Boys and Girls Clubs.
