Marylanders won seven medals, including four golds, at the Special Olympics World Games, which end Sunday in Los Angeles. Ben Stevick of Laurel triumphed in two equestrian events, English Equitation and Dressage; Eddie Murphy of Grasonville won gold in cycling (500 meters); and Alicia Gogue, a cyclist from Odenton, took silver at 1,000 meters. Abby Resnick, a swimmer from Prince George's County, captured three medals — gold (4x100 meter relay), silver (200 meter freestyle) and bronze (100 meter backstroke).
