Broncos quarterback Teddy Bridgewater exited Sunday’s game against the Ravens with a concussion.
Bridgewater spent halftime being evaluated after he was hit by Ravens linebacker Odafe Owehon on the offense’s final play of the first half. The quarterback went to the medical tent as the first half expired at Empower Field.
Baltimore led 17-7 at halftime and Bridgewater spent much of the first half under pressure from the Ravens’ four-man pass rush and blitz looks. He was 7-of-16 for 65 yards and one touchdown.
When the Broncos came out for the second half, Drew Lock had his helmet on and was warming up. Lock then took the field with the offense for Denver’s first possession of the third quarter. The Broncos struggled to move the ball and punted.
Soon after, Bridgewater was declared out for the game.
