Only 2,000 tickets remain for Maryland-Johns Hopkins men’s lacrosse game Saturday

Only 2,000 tickets remain for Saturday’s men’s lacrosse game between No. 3 Maryland and No. 7 Johns Hopkins at Homewood Field, Blue Jays officials announced Monday.

Tickets for the 116th installment of the annual in-state rivalry, a Senior Day game that will highlight homecoming weekend for Hopkins (9-3, 3-1 Big Ten Conference), will be capped at 10,000. The game will decide the top seed in next week’s Big Ten tournament and the outright regular-season champion.

The Terps (10-2, 3-1) have won three straight against their archrivals, including a 12-5 victory last April before an announced 14,353 at Maryland Stadium.

To order tickets online, visit To buy tickets in person, go to the main office of the Johns Hopkins athletic department between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Friday.

If the 2 p.m. game is not sold out in advance, ticket sales on game day will begin at noon, which is 30 minutes earlier than usual.
