Named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year on Monday, senior defenseman Foster Huggins collected the league’s Defensive Player of the Week for the fourth straight week after totaling six ground balls and four caused turnovers in Friday’s 12-8 win against Army West Point.

Comment: The Midshipmen extended their winning streak against the Mountain Hawks to four with a 10-7 victory in a Patriot League game on March 24. The conference honored senior attackman Jack Ray as its Offensive Player of the Week after his four-goal, two-assist effort in Saturday’s 13-12 win at then-No. 9 Syracuse. Senior Joe Varello was named Faceoff Specialist of the Week after his 16-for-27, seven-ground ball, one-goal performance against the Orange.
