Favorite: Bryant This is the first year the NEC owns an automatic bid. The Bulldogs (5-8) got off to a 1-8 start out of conference, but coach Mike Pressler's troops have rallied by winning four straight. In conference, Kevin Massa has won 81 percent of his faceoffs. Long-pole Mason Poli has 18 points. Contenders: Robert Morris, Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart Robert Morris (6-5) thrives in high-scoring games, with six players accumulating 20 points. Quinnipiac (5-6) is led by 37 points from Michael Sagl, but its defense is tied for No. 49 in the nation, surrendering 11.3 goals against per game. Sacred Heart (2-9) has beaten Mount St. Mary's and Wagner. After taking down Bucknell, Georgetown and Delaware, the Mount (4-9) has lost five straight games and is winless in the conference. NEC teams are a combined 14-38 out of conference in 2013.
